Project Description
Located within the Peekskill Historic District, this project introduces a steel-framed canopy and outdoor dining area at the rear of Whiskey River Bar & Grill. The new addition transforms a previously unused service yard into an inviting patio space defined by clean lines, warm lighting, and layered plantings.

A custom retaining wall was engineered to support the adjacent municipal parking lot, integrating the structure seamlessly into the sloped urban site. The black steel canopy and perimeter railing reflect the building’s industrial heritage while adding a contemporary rhythm to the historic streetscape.
The result is a functional and atmospheric outdoor space that extends the life of the restaurant and strengthens its connection to the community.
