Short Summary
A complete renovation of a dated raised ranch into a warm, mid-century inspired home featuring a custom walnut kitchen, redefined proportions, and a balanced modern exterior palette.

Project Description
What began as a typical 1980s raised ranch was reimagined into a warm, modern home with a distinctly mid-century feel. Mandra Workshop transformed the façade with new cladding, proportioned window openings, and natural materials that add depth and sophistication without overpowering the home’s modest scale.
Inside, the renovation focused on openness and flow—removing partitions to create a continuous living, dining, and kitchen space anchored by a custom walnut kitchen. Clean lines, rich textures, and a thoughtful balance of light and contrast redefine the interior while keeping the plan efficient and livable.
The result is a compact home elevated through proportion, materiality, and modern craft—a refined reinterpretation of the raised ranch for contemporary living.
